The hot dip galvanizing process is simple and effective. Dip the carbon steel into an acid bath (pickling) to clean the surface. Then dip steel into a bath of molten zinc to produce a corrosion resistant coating that bonds with steel to fight atmospheric corrosion and rust. Dipping process assures complete and consistent application of zinc coating even in the hard to reach spaces of complex equipment where painting is costly and time consuming.
